You can make juice in volume to save you time.
Like today, I know tomorrow I have a very early morning and I will not have time to juice. I will make extra today for tomorrow. If you are working do two or three day at one time.
You’re already in the kitchen with your chopping board and juicer. So why not prepare more than one batch at a time?
It will save you time on cleaning and cut out total time in the kitchen. It also means you can have a day off from the physical act of juicing, while still getting your fresh juice.
I usually do two different types of juices in one day, and store the second in a glass jar in the fridge (it can keep for up to 72 hours).
You can also freeze your juice for up to 3 months without experiencing any significant loss of quality. Freezing juice is convenient because you can thaw frozen juice when you don’t have the time or the ingredients to make it fresh. Plus in hot weather it makes a great cold drink. The nutritional quality of frozen juice (especially when you freeze it immediately, use it quickly and pack it correctly) is high enough to make it worth the effort. And frozen juice is better than no juice.
** Add lemon to slow the oxidation down.
If you have arthritis like I do you always looking for something to reduce inflammation.
Here is juice drink — that may help ease the pain in the joints and keep gout away.
A Pain Reliever
1 cup of cherries
4 inches of fresh turmeric or 1 tsp. of ground turmeric
Wash cherries then pit the cherries. Juice the cherries and the fresh turmeric together.
If you do not have fresh turmeric then use the ground turmeric. Stir in the cherry juice. Drink immediately.
A NEW SUPPLEMENT FOR INFLAMMATION
This supplement has been out on the market for about two months. It is called “SPM Active” I got from my naturopath doctor but you can buy right on EBay and probably other places online. This has helped me to have a lot less pain in my joints. I really noticed in my hands and feet having less pain. I can close my hand now!
I drink juice to help with digestion and pain in the joints. Like apples for digestion and pineapple for inflammation. It is good to you know what the fruits and vegetables benefit are for your body. It takes time to learn but it is worth it.
